Manhattan Youth Ballet Workshop Performances - Stories That Dance: Shakespeare and his Legacy, March 13-15, 2015


Manhattan Youth Ballet and Manhattan Movement & Arts Center present Stories that Dance: Shakespeare and his Legacy from March 13-15, 2015 at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center, 248 West 60th Street, NYC (between Amsterdam and West End Avenues) in the Lincoln Center area. 

Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for students.  Tickets are available at manhattanyouthballet.org beginning Tuesday, February 10 or by calling 212-787-1178.  Performances:  Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 1pm and 5pm, Sunday at 3pm.

Stories that Dance: Shakespeare and his Legacy features excerpts from George Balanchine's A Midsummer Night's Dream, a newly reimagined Romeo and Juliet choreographed by Brian Reeder (World Premiere), an innovative take on Ophelia's story from Hamlet by Clifton Brown and excerpts from the great classical work Le Corsaire staged by Marina Stavitskaya.
