Schoolhouse Rock Live! is coming to Orange County for an exclusive engagement at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, October 3rd & 4th.  Based on the popular Saturday morning cartoon series Schoolhouse Rock  from the 70s and 80s, the theatrical adaptation follows Tom, a nervous teacher wracking his brain to get his students to like him on the first day of school. He tries to relax by watching television when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music.

Theatre company Childsplay revives academic hits from the cartoon like "Conjunction Junction" and "Just a Bill." With updated music, a multimedia production and a set design inspired by video games Tetris and Minecraft, the fast-paced, hour- long show promises a good time for all. Recommended kids ages 4 -8, (or for any adults still struggling in Civics, Math and Grammar! )
