Mythbusters at Discovery Science Center

Orange County's Discovery Science Center has a new exhibit inspired by the popular MythBusters series. It's a fun, hands-on exploration of science experiments.

The kids tested whether bread tends to land butter side up or down.

We tried to pull a tablecloth out from under a set table.

We tried to find out if an airplane could take off from a moving runway.

Of course, Jafta was most mesmerized by the blue flame exhibit. Fortunately this was not a hands-on experience.

India tried to see if a phone book swing could hold her.

We watched cool explosions.

We tried making structures that could withstand a tornado.

And we tried to determine whether or not a person could outrun a paintball.

I won't spoil the fun by sharing the results of our experiments. You'll have to check it out yourself! The Mythbusters exhibit will be at the Discovery Science Center all summer through September 7th.
